Step One Completed

I now have a BSc in Computer Science. Yay me! As most of you know, it took me a while to get to this point. Now it's time to see a little bit of the world. My flight for Thailand leaves tomorrow morning at 9am. It'll be a long, long trip. My previous record for time in the air is five hours - this is about 20. I don't have much to say at this point except that I'm surprisingly calm about the whole trip. Having never been anywhere outside of Canada and the US, I assumed I'd be freaking right about now. I've had a few moments of butterflies but none for about a week. I was going to book a place before I got there but I've decided to wing it. That is the point of this trip by myself: to see how I handle situations. I'll let you know in a couple of days how it turned out.
